'Driving is fun, after all' - and not just through the woods and across the fields, but in the competition area as well. At least that's how two-times world champion Tjeerd Velstra sees it. We watch him - and single horse expert Hans Luke - during training as they prepare drivers for competition appearances.

We go to Riesenbeck, where Team World Champion and reigning German Champion Michael Freund prepares drivers for their first appearances in the competition arena. Further and useful tips come from the national German pair team trainer Ewald Meier, from active drivers' spokeman Jurgen Matthies and, last but not least, from the German Pairs and four-in-hand team farrier Anton Danner.

This third volume in the series rounds off the topic 'Hitch up and Drive' with driver's eye pictures and sequences from competition events.
