We follow the route of the Llangollen Canal from Hurleston Junction to Llangollen. As a bonus we also venture onto the Montgomery Canal.

Highlights of both journeys include the staircase locks at Grindley Brook, the lifting bridges and the aqueducts at Chirk and Pontcysyllte along the Llangollen Canal. Then we descend the staircase locks at Frankton Junction and cruise the northern reaches of the Montgomery Canal to Maesbury Marsh.
